Never thought a swamp could feel more intense than a battlefield, but The Witch and the Hundred Knight really flipped that idea. Metallia’s choice to unleash her full power was wild, almost like when a series suddenly goes from lighthearted to pitch black in one episode. But then you’ve got Hundred Knight accidentally eating weird mushrooms and tripping out, which totally breaks the tension. If more anime took these kinds of risks, we might see darker fantasy worlds with twisted humor and unpredictable magic systems. Maybe Metallia’s curse is actually tied to some ancient lore we haven’t seen yet. Can’t wait to see where this goes—feels like opening a cursed grimoire and not knowing what’ll crawl out next.
