Into the Abyss: A Deep Dive into the Philosophical Undertones of Attack on Titan

I've been rewatching AoT and deeply delving into how it perfectly combines philosophy and anime. Throughout the series, Isayama bravely questions humanity's inherent evil, freedom, and suppression. Eren's transformation and his lose-yourself-to-find-yourself journey displays an existential crisis many can resonate with. The concept of "freedom" portrayed also bears a striking resemblance to Sartre’s 'Freedom and Responsibility.' Undeniably, the exploration of utilitarianism through the bitter choices the characters have to make adds a deeper layer of complexity. Anyone else find some other philosophical elements in the series that struck a chord?
