Just got done with Goblin Slayer and wow, it's a lot darker than I expected. It dives deep into the grim aspects of fantasy that most shows gloss over. The way it handles the theme of justice in such a gritty setting really stands out. The contrast between the brutal reality the characters face and their determination for justice makes for a compelling narrative. It's not for everyone because of its intensity, but if you can handle it, there's a lot to appreciate about how it doesn't shy away from the darker sides of its world. Really makes you think about the cost of fighting evil in such a merciless environment.
