Evaluating Survival in Made in Abyss Can Descent Ignite the Will to Overcome?

Man, if Made in Abyss has taught us anything, its that the deeper you go, the crazier it gets. Just when you think the Abyss couldnt throw anything more bizarre at us, it hits us with the Sovereign of Dawn arc. Never thought Id see Reg use his powers in such a mind blowing way, redefining what it means to be a relic in this twisted world. Its like every layer unveils a new philosophy on survival and the human will to overcome.

Then theres Nanachis failed cooking attempt. Who knew that amidst all this tension and descent into madness, wed get a moment as light hearted as a Mitty shaped pancake gone wrong? Its moments like these that remind us of the characters humanity in a world that constantly tests it.

This arc raises so many questions about the nature of the Curse and how these revelations could reshape our understanding of the Abyss. It feels like were on the cusp of discovering something that could shake the very foundation of their world, possibly revealing the true purpose of the Abyss.

I have this theory that the Abyss itself might be some form of living entity or test, judging those who dare to explore its depths. What if every layer is a trial designed to push humanity to evolve, or perhaps dissuade them from uncovering whats truly at the bottom?

Cant wait to see where this rabbit hole leads us. Its like standing on the edge of the Abyss, looking down, and wondering just how deep the darkness goes. Lets hear your thoughts got any theories or favorite moments of your own?

The theory that the Abyss acts as a living test is fascinating! It really puts the characters journeys into perspective, making each challenge a step in their evolution. Also, totally agree about the light hearted moments. They add so much depth to the characters amidst the chaos.

Absolutely fascinated by the idea that the Abyss could be a living entity testing humanity! Its like the entire journey is a metaphor for growth and facing the unknown. Also, cant get over the Mitty pancake scene a perfect blend of humor and tragedy in such a dark setting.
