The way Boushoku no Berserk just amped up the stakes kind of reminds me of when Attack on Titan pulled those brutal twists, but with even more raw hunger—literally. Seeing Fate’s decision to push his Gluttony skill past the point of no return hit different, like it’s asking us how far we’d go for power. Then there’s the chicken scene with Greed suddenly demanding seasoning in the middle of all this darkness—it almost cracked me up. If this keeps up, dark fantasy might start to lean more into these morally gray, unpredictable main characters. What if Gluttony connects to some old world lore?
