Never thought I’d see the day when Lum’s dad would actually try to negotiate Earth customs instead of just zapping stuff. It’s wild how the alien culture in Urusei Yatsura keeps flipping what “belonging” even means—like, Ataru’s latest blunder at the school festival had everyone laughing, but it also showed how out of place both humans and aliens can feel. Makes me wonder if the series is hinting that nobody really fits in anywhere, not even the aliens on their own ship. What if the whole point is that “home” is just wherever the chaos is? Can’t wait to see if things get even weirder—like, will the next episode be a cosmic game of tag? What do you all think?
