Do Rivalries in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic Redefine Support Roles?

It’s like watching a healer suddenly pick up a sword in the middle of a boss fight—never thought I’d see support magic used like that in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. Usato’s choice to go head to head with his so called rivals flips the whole idea of what support roles are supposed to do, and honestly, it feels like a game changer for the genre. Meanwhile, Rose’s over the top training methods are still hilarious, especially when she turns a healing session into a full on endurance test. If rivalries push healers to fight on the front lines, does that mean the old rules don’t matter anymore? Maybe this is how support magic gets its own hero arc. Can’t wait to see if this trend sticks or if it’s just a wild detour—like swapping out potions for energy drinks mid raid. What do you all think?

Usato just breaking the mold for healers is honestly so refreshing. Watching him throw himself into fights instead of hiding in the backline makes every battle way more intense. Rose’s “training” is basically torture at this point, but it’s hilarious. If more anime did this, support classes would finally get the respect they deserve!

Usato just bulldozing through the “support” stereotype is honestly so refreshing. Watching him throw himself into fights instead of hiding in the backline makes every battle unpredictable. Rose’s training is brutal but hilarious—I’d never survive it. If more anime did this, maybe support mains wouldn’t get roasted so much in game chats lol.
