Could The Unusual Bonds in The Vampire Dies in No Time Reveal a New Kind of Comedy

Never thought I’d see a vampire and a vampire hunter bond over armadillo shenanigans, but here we are. Watching Ronaldo actually trust Draluc for a split second, only for things to spiral into chaos thanks to John’s random heroics, feels like a new level of absurd comedy for the series. The way these weird friendships form out of nowhere makes me wonder if the show is trying to say something about how even the most unlikely people can find common ground, or if it’s just poking fun at classic rival tropes. Maybe these goofy alliances are setting up a bigger twist. Anyone else think we’re in for a wild ride, like waiting for garlic bread to explode? What’s your take?

John is honestly the MVP of chaos. Every time he does something random, it somehow brings Ronaldo and Draluc closer, even if it’s just for a second before everything falls apart. The show’s got this weird genius for turning rivalries into the dumbest friendships, and I’m here for every ridiculous twist.

John is honestly the MVP of chaos in this show. The way he just derails every serious moment cracks me up. I think the weird bonds are less about deep messages and more about making fun of how rivalries in anime are usually super dramatic. Here, it’s just pure, unpredictable comedy.
