I'm absolutely hooked on The Promised Neverland! The unraveling mystery of Grace Field House truly gets under your skin. The creators outdid themselves in building suspense. As for what makes it stand out, I’d say it's the way it touches our emotions. These so-called "children" are so well developed, we feel their fear and share in their motivation to escape. It's like we're part of their struggle, making each plot twist so much more poignant. It plays with our feelings exceprionally well, making it more gripping than a lot of other mystery anime out there. That's my take, anyway.
