Favorite Manga Adapted into Anime in 2024: Successes and Failures?

So, 2024 has been a rollercoaster for us manga fans, with several manga adaptations into anime hitting our screens. From the heart-throbbing, tear-dropping to the adrenaline-pumping action series, we've seen it all.

My top pick this year would have to be 'Wings of Luna', a stunning blend of scenic artistry and powerful storytelling. Any fans here? It stayed remarkably true to the manga and the animation style was a visual treat.

But, not all adaptations proved successful. 'Chronicles of the Lost Empire', a personal favorite manga of mine, fell short in the anime format. The characters felt a bit flat and the pacing was rushed. A real disappointment given the depth of the source material…

What's your take? What adaptations did you enjoy this year? And those that left you shaking your head in disbelief or despair? Let's get our manga thoughts flowing!

'Wings of Luna' was definitely a highlight for me too! The animation captured the essence of the manga perfectly, to the point where I felt like I was stepping right into the pages. On the other hand, 'Chronicles of the Lost Empire's anime adaptation was kinda heartbreaking. The manga was so captivating, but the anime was such a letdown. The character dynamics felt off and it just lacked that spark the manga had. But hey, 'Last Tower's adaptation was a pleasant surprise! Thought it would be hard to capture the manga's intricacy in an anime format, but they pulled it off brilliantly. Did anyone catch it?
