Just went through some chapters of "Devilish Charms" and "Love in the Ethereal Realm" last night. It sparked a thought - is the 2024 wave of ecchi manga pushing the boundaries too far? The art, plot development, fanservice, everything is top-notch no doubt - but the level of exposure seems greater than what we traditionally knew ecchi to represent. Opinions? It's certainly an interesting topic. While I loved the recent strips of "Devilish Charms" and "Love in the Ethereal Realm", I sometimes do feel the ecchiness is being pushed up a notch more than necessary. However, I also see this as a form of evolution, reflecting the changing tastes of the audience. As long as it's not blurred the genre lines and remains within the respectful range of showcasing, I'm okay with it. At the same time, I understand why some may find it excessive. #Ecchi2024 #NewWaveEcchi
